The truth behind Braingain
Not long ago, Dorkmania launched a new product called The Braingain. A little blue pill that is said to boost brain capacity. This so that persons who need it can participate in the country's academic system.
An unfortunate incident or not?
However, this little blue pill has a lot of power and it has shown. Last Saturday, a 24-year-old man died as a result of The Braingain. He did not respond as expected and had ingested too large a dose. An unfortunate incident or should we look for more behind this?
The man's family, immediately filed a complaint against the scientists who marketed the pill. They wish to remain anonymous. The lab is currently re-examining the pills to pinpoint exactly where the danger lies.
Will the pill stay on the market?
Earlier this month, the scientists/inventors and doctors sat together because there were already several complaints regarding the use of the pill. The doctors notified the scientists and were of the opinion that the still pill was not safe enough for use. Unfortunately, this was not investigated seriously enough and got a dramatic outcome.
A petition is also currently circulating within Dorkmania. The majority of the residents are convinced that the scientists are not responsible for this incident and strongly believe in the proper functioning of the pill.
We cannot deny the effect of the pill either. Meanwhile, very many successful trials have already been established and many positive reactions are being given.
Consequences for scientists
The trial of the scientists will start next month. There are speculations that the full trial will be broadcast on national television. However, this has not yet been confirmed. The court's decision will be all-important for the individuals involved. This is not just about their work and contribution in science, it will also affect their credibility and trustworthiness within society.
